“He died of heart attack, your mother can confirm it.” Flora stared at her mother who was crying.

“Forget it, I’m done with this family.” Flora stood. She wasn’t about to let her father control her from the grave. “I’ll leave the inheritance to the state.”

“You can’t give the state what you don’t have, until you accept the terms.”

“You can contest the will if you have grounds, like lack of mental capacity.” Paul confirmed.

“There it is.” Flora stood up, lifting her hands up. “My father was crazy and out of his mind.” Betty stood up and held Flora by the arm. “Honey, this is what your father wanted, you don’t have to rebel all the time.”

“Honey!” Flora removed a strand of hair from her mouth. “You can’t call me honey after everything you did to me and dad. I always sat on my bed till late waiting for my mother to come back and read me a story while you were out partying with your boyfriends, and don’t get me started on how you denied me several times that I’m not your daughter in front of your boyfriends. You always said that I was the daughter of my dad’s first wife, who never existed.”
