She drove to the city limits for what seemed like days, and when freedom was just miles away, her Ferrari turned into a robot car, leaving her on the side of the road with her bag of cash. She stared at her car and continued to walk towards the city limits.

The LEAVING WESTFIELD sign remained barely visible no matter how long or how fast she walked. She started to run, frustrated at the same time. She leaned to one side to counterbalance the weight of her bag. The bag became too heavy but she kept on going. Her sides ached and she couldn’t run any further. The city limit was still in the distance. She knew for sure that she was still stuck in Westfield forever. She was sweating now as she opened her eyes.

She sat up in the bed. A silent scream on her lips. Her breathing was choppy and she was sweaty. It was the worst nightmare of her life. She wondered why Ricky was the only person in her dream and the money. Where did it come from?

CHAPTER THREE

The next week was boring for Flora. She stayed in her room most of the time and avoided everyone especially her mom and Angie. She walked to the living room and curled up on the plush leather sofa. She had a novel on her hands, while listening to music from the background.
