Sumno was a beautiful woman with a fiery personality. The proper description of her personality was that she was passionate. She was also aggressive and fully able to enjoy both aspects of her life. Capable of hunting, caring for her surroundings, and being a woman who delights her mate was something Sumno spoke of often.
“It shall be my pleasure to have Yousho as my selection before the day ends,” said Sumno to a friend. “We can create a good family together. I will bring a happiness to him that will have him always keep me in his mind.”
As the day wore on, all the women had returned except Kaori. The sun had set, and an evening temperature drop left an evening cool over the village. Many of the women anxiously awaited Kaori’s return so that they could make their selections and the celebrations could begin. A few of the villagers began to worry about Kaori. The council decided to gather a few men of the tribe to begin a search for Kaori.
Kaori was a little over a mile away from the village on a distant hill. After eating more fruit, Kaori began another chant to the gods. Then she fell into a silent prayer. As she sat there in the silence, a voice within her began to speak:
