“This is a blessed day for you my child. A deer will come to you to be your contribution to the Jontoo feast. It will follow you back to the village. You should return immediately when the deer comes to you,” said the voice.

As Kaori opened her eyes, there stood a large deer right in front of her. It was a large buck with antlers that were a bit menacing. She began to share her fruit with this animal. Then she began to sing to the deer in joy and thanksgiving. She then began her walk back to the village.

Kaori soon arrived back at the village of Hayshua. The deer had walked with Kaori completely willing to offer itself to the village as a sacrifice. Kaori walked right up to the hut of the leader of the tribe where the council had gathered.

“This animal has come to our people to sacrifice itself to us as my contribution from the hunt,” said Kaori.

In all the years celebrating Jontoo, this had never happened. All the people were astonished. Kaori had not even killed the animal. It stood there willing to accept its fate. At that point, the council decided to meet on this matter.

One of the members in the council members spoke about the wonderful lineage that Kaori had come from. Her Grandmother had been a member of the council. Her grandfather a talented and nice person was well loved from far and wide. The mother of Kaori is a singer and dancer who had talents that most appreciate. The father of Kaori is also a respected member of the ministry group of Hayshua.
