Born in 1967, I grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. After getting married and having two boys, my family and I moved to the Roanoke, VA area, where we live today. My interests have been computers, writing, chess, and creating animations. When I was in high school, I was torn between becoming a writer or a computer programmer. Although computers won out, the desire to write stories never left me. Along with being a computer programmer, I have also taught computer skills, ranging from how to use Microsoft products to programming using Java. Mysteries and mystery novels have always fascinated me. The Hardy Boy mysteries were one of my favorites when I was growing up.
