“You have to be strong.”

Flora nodded and then glanced at Jules, not sure what she should say or do. She laughed.

“I can see darkness in your future Flora.” Miranda never smiled but kept her gaze on Flora. It felt strange, having him look at her so intently. She didn’t feel intimidated, all she wanted was to buy time and let the person tailing them to go. She felt Miranda’s sincerity, her concern and it was as if she had known Miranda her whole life. Maybe she was referring to her mother becoming a pain in the ass in the near future, but she was used to it now. She could handle her mother eyes closed.

“Seems like you wanna know your future.” Jules before they started across the shop. The plan was to lose the person tailing them but Flora had taken interest in looking around the shop.

“Well, there’s good energy surrounding you too like love.” Miranda’s eyes grew smaller. “Things will work out though.” She said with confidence. It was as if she could really see her future.

“Thank you.” Jules said.

The door chimes rang as two ladies walked in the shop. While Miranda attended to them, Jules led Flora to the curtains of beads to the living quarters at the rear of the shop.
