After a few years, Betty's friend Shelley from the church left the church. Betty started to feel like no one there ever really saw her. About this time the church started to split up. After praying about it, Betty decided to go to another church. It just so happened that Betty's friend Shelley was going to this other church Ritchie didn't leave the other church. So they were going to separate churches. After some time Ritchie left the other church and started going to the same church, but he didn't feel right in the new church. After several years Betty's friend left the new church. Soon Betty felt like she was invisible again and decided to go to another church. She tried several, but wasn't finding the church where the Lord wanted her. Ritchie didn't leave the new church right away, but after a few months he too left. Betty really started to doubt herself. Why was she not able to commit to a church? Was she ever going to find a church? She loved Ritchie but a part of her wanted to be free. She even fantasized about a boy from school, and she hated school. What was wrong with her? God would not want her to be lusting after another. She didn't deserve Ritchie.
