All seems perfect when a ship-board romance leads to a quick marriage for a wealthy San Francisco businessman and 19-year old beauty, Helene. Suspicions about Helene's past soon arise, however, and her new groom decides to investigate. Questions of possible infidelity, illegitimacy, and prostitution follow.
