It wasn't very long before Arflin found just the right person he was looking for. The man was tall and slender. He was dressed neatly in a leisure suit. Arflin could sense the man was a hustler. He figured this man knew his way around when it came to making deals.

The man said his name was Juan. He bought Juan a couple of drinks. Arflin told Juan he needed a new id and also a pistol. He was willing to pay good money for the best.

"Give me about twenty minutes and I will let you know. I need to make a few phone calls," Juan said as he walked outside the bar.

In about twenty minutes Juan returned. Arflin ordered two more drinks and they sat down in a corner booth to discuss the arrangements about the gun and id.

"You can get an id that is so good it would be almost impossible for anyone to detect it wasn't the real thing. You will also get a thirty-eight pistol with the serial numbers filed off so it can't be traced," Juan told him.

"How much will all this cost me?" Arflin asked him.

"It will cost you five thousand pesos up front. I will take you there. It will take about two hours," Juan instructed Arflin.

Juan and Arflin left the bar and walked down the street to where Juan had parked his car. Once inside the car Arflin counted out the money and handed it to Juan. They then drove to what looked like an old run down office building. They went inside and took the service elevator up to the third floor. Juan knocked gently three times on the door of one of the offices.

A large chubby man with dark brown eyes and a thick black mustache slowly opened the door. He had on a dirty white suit and wore a straw Panama hat, that at one glance you could tell it had seen better days.

"This is the man I called you about," Juan said as he handed the man four thousand pesos.

"Follow me," the man instructed Arflin as he locked the front door of the office and went in a back room.

Juan sat down in one of the chairs out front and waited.

In the back room was a camera set on a tripod. There was a wooden chair with a white screen behind it. The man told Arflin to take a seat in the chair while he took several pictures of him.

"That should do it. You can go back and wait with Juan while I get your drivers license ready," the man said.
