"Which neighbor?" The lady asked.

"Jock Farmington, He has applied for a rather large insurance policy. I was wondering if you could tell me about him. What kind of person is he and things like that?" William said.

"He rents a house from me. He is single and lives alone. He came from an outback town near Alice. He said he spent the last 5 years in Alice Springs before moving here. His parents were killed in a plane crash when he was sixteen. I hardly ever see him. He is a writer. He has been here a month now. He paid me six months rent in advance. He is a quiet person and lives alone. He goes out two or three times a week, but other than that I don't think there is much more I can tell you. I see his car is gone. He lives next door," the lady replied.

"Thank you so much. You have been most helpful," Arflin said as he walked away.

Thus far this had been the ideal murder for Arflin. He had the man's car, his ID and looked enough like him to pass for his brother and could live rent-free for the next five months if he chose to do so. He walked back to the car and waited a few minutes just to make sure everything was ok. He drove back to the hotel. He got rid of the disguise and packed his clothes. He checked out of the hotel and headed for his new home. He drove into the driveway. When he started into the house his landlady called to him.

"Mr. Farmington there was a man stop by this morning inquiring about you. He said he was an investigator from an insurance company. I told him you were a writer and lived alone. Was that alright?" She asked.

"Certainly, I meant to tell you someone might come by inquiring about me," he said as he unlocked the door and went inside.

It was a small house. It had a living room with a TV, one bedroom and a bathroom. The kitchen had a table and two chairs in it that served as a dining area also. Arflin looked in the refrigerator. There was a six-pack of beer, some baloney, a quart of milk and half a loaf of bread.

He walked into the bedroom. It had a queen sized bed and on a table and chair in the corner with a computer. There was a notebook on the table with Jock Farmington's username and password written in it so he could go online.
