Silver Devil spent the next few days lounging around the pool at the motel where he was staying. Friday morning as he was about to leave his room and stroll down to the pool he noticed two police cars pulling into the motel. He stood with the door half opened as he peered with one eye. Two police walked into the motel office while the other two kind of lingered outside. He silently slipped back inside. He got his clothes and stealthily slid over the balcony to the ground below. There were some thick woods right behind the motel and Silver Devil disappeared into them.

He had a feeling they might be looking for him. One of the girls might have said something to someone about being filmed Sunday and that might be reason enough to have the police checking all the motels in the area. He wasn't going to take any chances. He hid behind some trees where he could watch the balcony. He waited for about two hours until he was sure they had left and made his way back around to the front of the motel. There wasn't any sign of the police cars so he leisurely strolled back to his room. He would wait until dark so no one would see him and then go back into the woods and retrieve his clothes.

Later that night while most of the motel guests were out having their evening meals, he once again went over the back balcony into the woods and got his clothes. Just as silently as he had left he returned.

It was now 8 pm. He promised Ginger Snap he would see her online and confirm the filming for the audition was still set for Sunday morning. As he walked into the library he saw a uniformed police officer standing at the front desk talking to a lady. He wasn't sure what the officer was doing there, as he had never seen any police in a library before. He decided to skip the chat rooms that night.

I'm quite certain Ginger Snap and Partytime did not realize just how lucky they were Silver Devil did not get in touch with them on Friday night. I know they were disappointed he was not who he claimed to be. Had they have known who was really leading them into a trap I'm sure they would have taken a lot more precautions next time when chatting with strangers online.

They were teenagers and it was so easy for a con artist such as William to take advantage of them. He was well versed and used his talent quite well.
