"what are you smiling about?" he asked teasingly.
"nothing" I replied.
"really?" he still have those teasing smile.
"yeah, just admiring mom and da"
"or your imagining that you have a boyfriend who will also kiss you like that?" he said with a goofy smile on his eyes.
"am not"

"you two, stop bickering and sit down." my mom said. We hurriedly sit in the dining table. My dad in the head of the table with mom on his right, me on his left and my little brother beside my mom.
Dinner was fantastic as always, almost perfect but since my older brother went in the state university, it was never the same but still fine. Sometimes he comes home during his semestral breaks.
Before going to bed, I kneeled down in my bed and prayed to God, thanking him of all the blessing we received for today and the future to come. We are catholic but not that hardcore religious type of people. We pray together as family before meals and go to church every sunday.
I slept with smile in my face. Life is simple and I wish it stays that way.
