The shopkeeper gave some coins to Yousho which was more than enough for their shopping needs. This was one of the primary shops that Hayshua trades with. The shopkeeper sells the medicines that Hayshua provides to him and profits handsomely from these sales. He is always glad to make sure that the people of Hayshua are taken care of when they visit Mento.
“Hmm, I really cannot think of many times when someone comes into my shop and I give them money and goods. This is another of your miracles Kaori,” the shopkeeper said.
Both Yousho and Kaori smiled.
“Thank you sir for your generosity and fine goods,” said Kaori.
Yousho and Kaori stopped in the Town Marshall’s office for a brief visit. A part of the discussion centered upon the decision of Hayshua to disband their warrior group.
“We are continuing to build a police force here in Mento. We are aware that this is being done to keep order within Mento. We know that we have no ability to protect ourselves if Reine decides to conquer our town. Once that king decides on a conquest, there is nothing anyone can do,” said the town Marshall.
“We are building a police force to protect us from the other vagrants that inhabit our world. We are also aware that there are people of Reine who have been visiting the area. We believe they are providing information to the King of Reine. A conquest may be in his plans.”
