Dr. Tyler Jamison met Rachel Leah Anderson while he was leturing at her college. He was six years her senior but they hit it off immediately. After graduating Rachel moved to be closer to him. Even though the Hillsdale City zoo was in prestage condiction the city had decided to build a new one two times the size and just on the outskirt of the city. At their council meeting they announced the old city zoo for sale had already one sealed bid for the property They voted on putting the picture of the zoo in the daily paper. One of the meeting's attendees asked how that person knew about the zoo coming up for sale. Both Dr.'s Jamison stood up and stated that they were doctors at the zoo and were in charge of tranqualizing the animals for their move to their new home

.

Dr. Tyler Jamison told the attendees that with their pay for being the city's zoo head doctors, and the income from being conservationist and biologist for a nature show, and the extra income from his lectures and willing to live onsite at the closed city zoo up for sale he decided to buy it and make it into a wildlife reservation put a bid in for the zoo. The last date for bidding on the old zoo would be three from that night. The next day it wasn't just in the paper but all over the Hillsdale very own televisin station. A lot of the colleges pitched in with gifts of money to the Jamison's to make their dream come true. The next council meeting they had two other people that bidded on it but Dr. Jamison's bid was the highest. His bid was accepted by the city. After they upgraded a couple of the sites it was ready for the new owners to be delivered.
