"Who's the joker?" Jayden asked while glaring at Skip.

"Does that really matter now? Shouldn't we get your father back to where he belongs?"

"I'm busy… I've got a business to run. Take him to the police station. Three blocks south turn right."

"Jayden! Is this the time to be holding grudges?"

"Look, I can't just close up my shop in the middle of the day… I've got bills to pay."

"Pee… Pee… Pee…" Jacob suddenly began babbling interrupting their argument.

"What the hell is he babbling about?" Jayden asked irritated.

"I'm no expert, but I think he needs to take a piss." Jayden's eyes widened remembering the incident from before.

"Mia?"

"Are you serious?"

"You brought him… Take responsibility." Jayden said dismissively.

"Jayden…" Jayden turned his back on her.

"Excuse me… I don't think it's any longer necessary." Skip's voice quietly interrupted the standoff causing Jayden to spin back around.

"Ah hell no… Why every time he comes around me he's gotta take a piss?" He asked looking at the small puddle of water in the middle of his aisle. Mia was determined not to laugh, but she could barely contain the giggles again. Jayden's expression was priceless. She looked over at her father and could see he too was having a hard time restraining himself.

"If you don't mind, I'll stay here and run your shop for you… You can do something with him." Skip volunteered. Jayden's eyes hardened at the old man.

"Dude I don't know you and I don't want to; so why don't you skip the hell on out of my shop, Skippy."

"Jayden he's…"

"It's cool Mia… I was just offering… It's cool… C'mon sweetheart." He insisted as he grabbed Mia by the arm pulling her out of Jayden's shop and leaving him with his father.

"Hey you forgot something… Old guy… hey Mia… come back and get him…" He yelled at their backs, but Skip wouldn't allow his daughter to turn around. He wouldn't allow her to go back and cater to a man that he thought was just too caught up in his own world and feelings and couldn't see into other people's feelings. He was a selfish man who hadn't learned how to care about others.

"Daddy…" Mia whined once her father got her into the car and they were leaving the parking lot.
