Jimmy Vegas was the first to score in the competition but not the only one as the other players within their 72 hour timeframe made hits on the targets of the wishing. Ivan: The Big Russian, the man mountain from St. Petersburg found what he was looking for in a parking garage in New York City. His score came in the name of John Williams, who when walking to his car found the wrong end of Ivan's shotgun. The weapons blast blowing his head clean off.

The streets of the Big Apple also saw the score made by CIA agent Matt Stryker. He was soon followed by Kentucky ex-cop turned hired gun, Tom Crow, who found killing bad guys was more fulfilling than arresting them. After nearly twenty years on the job, all he had to recall was seeing scumbags set free after bad police work and judgment calls.

Jody Richman, the other female of the competition, like Crow was a former cop, but unlike Crow who never made it out of the uniform, her badge read Detective. As a one of the youngest members of the force, she joined the Los Angeles Vice squad at the age of 25, but was scorned by the department when accused of stealing seized bags of cocaine after her last bust. Five members of Kill Fest had made their scores and time was running out for Aurora.
