On their way out of town they stopped by an apartment high rise and looked at a couple of apartments. Judge Waters took a liking to the penthouse apartment which had four bedrooms, and an office plus laundryroom with an alcove. where he thought Butch would love. Jen accompanied the moving van with the first load while Alex stopped by the justice building and picked up a pile of files that was the oldest and decided that he would get a head start on deciding some very old outstanding cases

The movers that delivered the first load had the van unloaded and the bedrooms furniture assembled by the time the second load arrived. by early evening all of the furniture was in it's place including Alex's office. The labeled boxes was in the right room. Jen placed Butch's bed and bowls in the alcove. He was still running around the apartment getting acquainted with his new home.Alex and Jen decided to eat at the outdoor cafe and took butch with them. After they ate they walked Butch in the park across the street from the outdoor cafe. Butch enjoyed his run around the dog part of the park. Jen knew he would want to go to the park every chance he could.

​ When they got back to the apartment Jen unpacked Alex's boxes and had his law books in the bookshelves. With Butch's help Jen took the empty boxes to the trash room.
