She said yes I would like to to. The next day they drove the six hours to the private school for girls . When Mrs Holman answered the door Ariel was standing there. She smiled and said Hi Grandma if that's okay with you. Her grandmother told her she could her grandma Mary or just plain grandma They hugged each other. Her grandmother asked where Professor Pleurocoelus was. Ariel sad Dad's parking the car.
Her grandmother smiled so you remember everything now. Ariel smiled and replied yes and I remember both of us planting flowers and vegetables in the garden, riding the horses, and taking long afternoon walks on the paths in the wooded area. I even remember you telling me not to go into the woods by myself. you didn't want me to get lost or hurt.
Grandma mary told her well if you really do remember then let's fix dinner. I'm sure both of you are famished. They baked cauflower patties with a cheesy sauce ,tomato and okra side dish, and homemade dinner rolls. After dinner grandma Mary suggested playin a old Vulcan game which resembled two Earthly games of yatzee and ten thousand that Every one had a good time. Since it was spring break and the rest of the young ladies except for Alexia had left grandma showed Solkar named after his great grandfather Pleurocoelus into a guest room downstairs and Ariel went to her old room.
She told Alexia about the night she got intoxicated on chocolates and peppermints. Alexia laughed so hard Ariel was afraid she was going to lose her bladder everywhere. On Saturday they all rode horses and had a good dinner fixed outdoors on the grill. They had ribs, potatoes wrapped in aluminum foil , corn on the cob also wrapped in foil, Homemade coleslaw. and ice tea to drink. Amelia had lemonade but lemonade and limeade doesn't settle right in Ariel and her father's stomach. Grandma Mary had a black cherry limeade.
The next morning after having a good breakfast of bacon , scrambled eggs, and biscuits they said their goodbyes and drove back to Houston. The next day they caught a flight to Florida to watch a new crew ship being launched off into outer space that didn't need to stop and refuel at the international space station. It would by pass the station and go to whatever planet it wanted to in the solar and star galaxies. Solkar explained to Ariel that their Earthly crew ships had to dock at the international space station to refuel and then the space station would turn a 180 degree turn and then the crew ships would back out of the docks then was able to jetiside to outer space. This would save a lot of time and money.
