They continued to teleport back and forth from Earth and Vulcan to keep in touch with the family. She learned that Professors Pleurocoelus was in deed her father but she didn't understand where her mother was. He told her that her mother died shortly after child birth from an infection she got and was buried here on earth in a cemetery. They drove to the cemetery and she saw her grave site . She remember instantly she had been brought her before. She could see herself as a very young girl.

The countries was running out of burial plots in cemeteries that the deceased was cremated and put in urns for the family to keep. Some people finds other ways which is now against the law to spread the ashes at. like in lakes and seas or in their loved ones favorite gardens. He stated that is where emotions come into play. She asked if that was what happened to her mother. He replied she died here on Earth so he had to do what the Earth's laws said but yes she was cremated then buried like her mother's Earthling parent wanted.
She was dealing in emotion and her father a Vulcan had already died on Vulcan so he saw her emotion and decided that his second wife's mother hadn't had time to cope with the tragic so yes him being the logical one at that time didn't make any waves.
