He taught Chestnut Boy to pull Ambrosia' tail also. Julie felt sorry for poor Ambrosia having to put up with her brother and his tag along.The boys was getting into food bags that was being piled upin the big barn so the stable crew was having to put the food up in the loft and the ones they were using was put into tubs with lids to keep them out of it.
They were allowed to run free in the pasture but not on the track or driveway.
One day a strange black limo opened the outside gate to the pasture ignoring the big sign that side for staff use only and sped toward the stable almost hitting all three ponies. Julie used the intercom system and told her dad there was a man down at the stable cusing her out. He was still using all of the vugor language at her and the ponies when Jeff walked down there. Jeff listened to the man and knew Julie wasn't lying and told the man that the car he was in. used the wrong gate and then just had damaged the pasture.
The man yelled at him and said well very shortly all of this is going to be mine and if you want a job here you and your little freak needs to appoligize and get rid of these unholy animals.He left the way he came in, The next day he came back and found a chain around the the handle of the gate where he couldn't come in that way and made him madder than a rabbied dog but he knew what he was saying and the jestures he was using nobody especially a child shouldn"t hear and see. He barked orders at him like he was already the owner which Jeff knew he wasn't.
