The next Sunday Ben's friend came out again with his geiger counter and the new wall that had been put into place to keep the workers from being in touched with the radioactive old wall was now contaminated also. Ben immediately closed off more of the Jelly bean division's part of the plant with a third wall. Ben couldn't figure out how it was spreading and had cameras installed to see if somebody was sabatoging the business
Ben informed Mr. Holmes and even he didn't have any other solutions for it. The next day it spread like a wilfire in the JellyBean division and there was so many compliants that the management decided to close that building down. Mr. Holmrs ordered a new assembly line to be installed in the Gumball division and to seal the old Jelly Bean building up in hopes that would solve the problem of the contamements from spreading..
For the next month it seemed to have worked and everyone was happy go lucky then it spread to the Gum Ball division building. They weren't any nearer of figuring out how and why the spreading was happening. They called in the EPA to see if they could figure the mess out and even they wasn't sure so again they closed the Gumball division building down and the Candy division building wasn't big enough to handle all of the divisions so Mr.Holmes ordered the Gumball assembly line to be shortened and to work all three shifts instead of only two
