Starke left the store, got in his pick-up, locked his purchase in the glove box, and headed back out of town, he had one more stop to make and that was at the B&B to make some special arrangements for the weekend he had planned. Then he headed back to the cabin, and of course apples and family were there waiting for their treat, so he grabbed his bag from the jewelers and headed in to cut up some apples for the deer .He never over did this because they had to continue to fend for themselves this was and always would be simply a treat for them, some days they did not show up at his door, but were off somewhere among the trees.
Candee went to work that morning floating on a cloud, and when she saw her friend Laura she was bubbling over with excitement to tell her, about the upcoming weekend that Starke was planning for them.
