They got back to the cabin, and decided to take a shower before digging into their food, and get the lake water off of them and out of their hair. The shower took about an hour since they went in together; it had turned quickly to a passionate encounter.

Candee said, "promise me Starke our marriage will never be lacking in passion for each other," "I can't imagine that ever happening to us since we were brought together by a force, that seems greater then ourselves, that same force will keep us bound to each other for the rest of our lives and beyond, I know you feel it too, don't you?," "yes, I guess I do." Then they dressed in fresh clothes, and ate with gusto, they seemed to be famished and ate every bit of it. Then they took their Chinese herb tea out to the porch to watch the sun set and enjoy the rest of the evening.

The evening was so beautiful and as the sun was beginning to set, they looked out beyond the cabin to the tree line to see the deer male and female couple had stepped out of the woods and were standing there looking towards the cabin, they stood there for several minutes before turning and walking back into the woods, as if they keep watch over this particular cabin, and were saying goodnight in their own way.

Candee remarked, "What a beautiful couple they are." Starke took her hand then and said, "We make a pretty good couple ourselves." "Indeed we do" and she smiled back to him, with that very special smile that reminded him of Marie. He realized that he was not thinking of Marie as often or in quite the same way with so much sadness, but when he was reminded it was always something about Candee that reminded him in a very pleasant way. And that he could deal with for the rest of his life, now that he was getting on with his life again with his soon to be bride.

It was getting dark the moon was bright and the sky full of stars, and as he was quiet with his thoughts at the moment he noticed a star shooting across the sky, Candee said, "did you see that?" "yes, I saw it" I'd like to make a room on the back of our new house similar to the one at the B&B Inn enclosed in glass including the roof so that was can sit out there and view the stars if we wish even in the winter, would you like that? oh, Starke that would be so wonderful, then that's what we will do, I'll speak to our builder this week and talk to him about it, we'll have a door however leading out to an open patio for our cookouts or lawn parties but we'll also have shelter should we get an unexpected shower. I want this house to be perfect, so that we can grow old in it together with our family.
