She wandered around in the kitchen, and noticed that it appeared to have been updated recently because it had a dishwasher installed and it looked brand newa nd he had a beautiful side by side refrigerator, the stove looked as though itd idn’t get used much, but then she did remember him saying he heated his mom's stove.
The cabin had very good bones she noticed but it sorely lacked a feminine touch, and looked as though it may never have had that, but then he did say Marie was gone for five years now, that would be a long time even if they had lived here together, she thought. She smelled the fire now, and walked into the middle of the great room, and saw that he had a beautiful fire going and had taken one of the big leather chairs near the fireplace, when he saw her, he reach out his hand to her to beckon her to him.
She walked to him, and was about to take the other chair when he pulled her down to his lap, and he kissed her then, a deep beautiful kiss, then he proceeded to kiss her all over her lovely face and her neck, and she enjoyed every minute of it. Then he stopped abruptly and said, "how about a cup of cocoa?" She stuttered a bit but then managed to say "okay." he picked her up as he stood and deposited her on the other chair, and said to be continued later with a wink ... and he went to the kitchen to make cocoa for them.
He came back a few minutes later with a steaming mug of cocoa for each of them, which he placed on the table between the chairs and took his seat, she reached for her' s and he said, "be careful it is hot".
She asked him after a few minutes of sipping her cocoa, how long have you had the cabin? He said, " four years now Isold the house Marie and I shared, too many sad memories there, and I found this and knew this would be perfect for me, I needed to be alone, for however long it would take, I just recently did the remodeling, because I know, I will never let go of this place even if I decided to buy a house in the city, this will be the perfect vacation home.
Tomorrow I'll show you around outside, seven acres came with this place and most of it was left natural, except for a nice clearing around the cabin, a nice creek that runs through the property, and runs to the lake, where my boat is docked. The creek comes from natural springs that run all through these mountains.
