Mandisa smiled sweetly.

"Mr. Motsepe, do you have a moment?"

Tebogo didn't like her smile but seeing her again was great. He hadn't realized it but he had missed her and the fact that he dreamt about her most nights didn't help either. He stood aside and allowed her in. He was very much curious on what she was doing there and why she looked like a cat that had all the cream.

"Missed me?" He teased while closing the door.

"As much as I miss flu." Mandisa answered, her voice dripping with honey. She swept the hotel room with one glance then turned to him. Tebogo wondered if she also felt that the hotel was overly decorated and had no hint of homely in it.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything important." She said looking at the phone. Tebogo doubted that her apology was genuine. She was up to something and she could barely contain the excitement of sharing it to him.

"Nothing that can't wait." He told her and went to hang up the phone without checking if his mother was still on the line or not. Unlike her, his words were genuine. His mother could wait. "So…" He said watching her closely for telling signs of what she was up to. "What brings you here?"

"Mind if I sit?" She asked acting all ladylike. If Tebogo didn't know better, he would have sworn on a stack of bibles that Mandisa Dladla had no temper and had never had an evil thought about anyone in her whole life. Her act made him nervous. It meant she had an ace up her sleeve. Tebogo couldn't think of what that ace was. He had covered his base and knew he had her and her sisters where he wanted them- scared. But Mandisa didn't look scared. She looked beautiful in black formal pants and red long sleeve shirt. She was wearing heels which raised her height to his.

Tebogo indicated that it was okay for her to sit. "Want something to drink?" He offered. She knew he was curious about what she wanted and like a good sportsmanship she was building the anticipation. Tebogo hoped she could live up to it.

"Sorry I don't have wine." He said sticking his head in the mini bar fridge. "If I had known you were coming I would have organized some."

"No worries." Mandisa said with a shrug and headed for the telephone. Tebogo looked at her puzzled.
