"What?" Sindi asked.

"They have information about our mother and that is what they used to get the hearing." Sindi continued to stare at her confused. "Our mother was a slut who bore kids then dumped them. You grew up with no family to teach you the value of family and loyalty so you don't know anything about being a mother and you won't think twice about dumping Joy like your mother did." Mandisa explained to her.

"But I'm not our mother." Sindi reasoned.

"No you are not, which is where the hearing comes it. There they are going to try and prove to the judge that you are exactly like our mother."

Mandisa suddenly had a nasty taste in her mouth. She should have seen that coming. Last night Tebogo had admitted that he had been investigating her and the bastard had been so relaxed and confident that Mandisa should have smelled the rat. They didn't really have a case but that wasn't going to stop them from fabricating one. He had even told her that he was going to suggest that Tumi had honestly thought Joy wasn't his child which is why he hadn't sued for custody until now.

"You are not going to let them get away with it are you? I'm not a slut. Tumi was the only person I ever slept with and I slept with him after we were married." Sindi said almost in tears.

"No I'm not going to let them get away with it but I need your help. I need to know everything you know about them. The only way I can win this case is if I can prove to the judge that the Motsepes are nothing but liars and scoundrels. For me to do that, I need to know their secrets, their scandals and anything that could help me make Tumi the worst parent on this planet not that he needs much help on that department but I need to be able to prove that. Want some coffee?" Mandisa asked just so she could give Sindi some time to think. She picked up the phone and asked Miranda to organized two cups of coffee.

"I lived with the Motsepes but I can't honestly say I know anything about them. I avoided Mama Rose as much as I could and Tumi, well he never spent much time in the house. He was always away doing god knows what."

Mandisa sighed. She had known Sindi was going to say that. Her sister always said that when asked to talk about the Motsepes. She knew nothing really because although she had lived with them for two years, she was a stranger to them.
