“That was the best food I have ever had, in my entire life!” I proclaim to my grandmother. She is one of the best cooks in our family. But our family is small for some reason that I have no concept of. “Aunt Christi, um before I came here tonight Isaac left me a letter. And he had asked me to ask Grandma about Black House. What is it?” I question. Grandma and Aunt Christi both drop their forks onto their plates.

“How did he know about that?” Aunt Christi asks Grandma. “She is now five-teen. He must have been contacted by the prophet. He must know what is going to happen.” She says. Ok, I may not understand what is going on. But they should at least know that I don’t like it when people talk about me in front of like I am not even there.

“What are you two talking about?” I ask. Grandma gets up and grabs my arm and drags me to the basement. “Alivia, I didn’t want this for you. You’re not old enough. But if your brother wanted you to ask there must be a reason.” She says.

Grandma moves her hands from the middle of her body in a circle movement away from her body. All of the candles that I didn’t know where there, come on with a roaring flame. I jump a little when the fire starts coming my way. But that’s when I realized that there was a trail of candles going around the entire room.
