As the month of December began, the thoughts of Christmas, parties and perhaps New Year began to circle around my head. It was the end of the year so we had to farewell to the Year 2010. The chilling cold and the white snow have covered the whole town like a frozen ball. Despite the cold weather, people were much more looking forward to the Christmas Day. Christmas was around the corner and the people were ready to gather together and have fun.

Gracy, me and the rest of the family visited different shopping markets to buy gifts and candies as a part of preparation for Christmas. Basically, traditional Scottish Christmas is quite famous but we don't celebrate like people did in the past. Many homes had 'Open fire' as a central heating but now we have electric heating. So, I sit there for hours and watch the glow of the embers. It feels so warm especially because it's quite cold outside. Still I can't wait to walk outside and look at the excitement of people. Though the days are shorter and its dark for most of the time, the Christmas festivities and lights are enough to cheer people up.

This was a month of December and the celebration was on our door. The excitement of celebrating New Year and the Christmas Day was enough to fire light in our young hearts. The cold winds of December froze our whole body but it didn't stop our wild heart. Few days back we had decided to get together and visit some few places. The streets were full of snow but still it didn't stop us from getting fun. Some few girls tagged along with their boyfriend to visit along us. The boys were friendly and sounded nice. Maybe Eric and I were the only boys who were single. The day was bitter cold and we were alone. The pairs looked so happy and I wished I had someone. I wish I could fall in love with a girl in the future who would brighten my world. But it may be a miracle if a shy guy like me thinks of making a pair now. But who knows what waits me in the future. There might me someone who would be the most lovely person I've ever met.
