"Congratulations," Wendell said. "If there's anything we can do to help-"

"I was hoping you might make me a dress," Samantha said to Prudence. "Nothing fancy of course."

"I'd be honored," Prudence said. "We'll take some measurements in the shop on the way back. I'll make sure to leave some extra room. And I can make something for Jackie too. Wouldn't it be so adorable for her and Molly to have matching dresses?"

"I don't want you to go to any trouble-"

"It's no trouble. Don't be silly."

"After the ceremony, I thought Joseph and I might come here for a few days," Samantha said.

"We could throw a party," Wendell said. "I'll build a stage right here in the park and we can bring up some tables."

"Phyllis can bake a cake and Molly can gather some flowers," Prudence added. "It'll be grand."

Samantha squeezed Prudence's hand and then leaned over to crush Wendell in a hug. After twenty years and so many changes from the day she'd woke up as a ten-year-old with no memory they had stuck by her side. Their love and friendship had survived despite all the obstacles placed in their way. Nothing, not Reverend Crane or Veronica or the fountain or time itself could tear them apart.

As they continued to make plans for the wedding, a scream drew Samantha's eye to where Molly and Jackie were playing. They scampered across a patch of grass, chasing each other back and forth as they played tag. The girls' squeals echoed across the meadow and back through time to twenty years ago, to Samantha and Prudence when they were young.
