At the Town Hall Meeting they discussed who the creature could be and how to deal with it. The only way they could think of dealing with it would be to kill it. Someone brought up that you had to stick it in the heart with a wood stake and one old man said that was a vampire and they only exist in fairy tales and another skeptic said so does warewolves so he thought that it was a person controled the wolves to do this and then leave those marks to cover the crime up and then the discussion turned to why would that person he or she would and their reason for it. To John that sounded more like it instead of a warewolf.
There were other suggestions made also. One was the toxic dump down by the road had made a pack of wolves sick of something and they were killing people. That also sounded fairly resonable kind of like rabbies. Another suggestion was aliens that did experments on people and the scratch marks was caused by their expeimental equipement. That sounded more far fetched than the warewolf. They did decide whatever it was it started when old man Jamison and his friend came back from Europe. The men decided that they would go to old man Jamison's estate and burn old Mr. Jamison and his friend out and kill both of them and that should end the town's problems
