When she looked into the college she realized that the tuition did not include dorm fees or supplies so she found a small apartment but the money she got wasn't even enough for that so she looked for a roommate. She had a couple of girls but they were partying too much and she had to ask them to leave or the landlord was going to evict all of them. Even though she knew it wasn't Brooklyn that was the problem. Her landlord paid for an ad in the newspaper roommate wanted for Brooklyn. She felt sorry for her.
She thought this young man was Mr.Right. She married him then found out just how much of a jerk he really was. They didn't have that much money Brooklyn got a job at this company that their next door neighbor worked at. Brooklyn kept getting stabbed in the back At first she thought it was just a string of bad luck but then she realized that it was her neighbor stabbing her in the back while messing around with her husband.
She took a lot of verbal abuse from her bosses and at home that turned into phyisical abuse She finally left him not knowing where she was going to live. She found a little one room with a bath. She needed the job so she stayed on but things didn't get any better. She finally decided that the job wasn't worth all of the verbal abuse. She asked a college cousellor if there was any way that she might be able to help her to find a job and a cheap lawyer to get a divorce.
