Zia's fingers kept holding on the phone, but had no senses. Her eyes were closed, face smeared with tears rolling down her lips.. She gulped down a lump of tears in her throat and slowly opened her eyes.. the image of the television in front of her was blurred with the moist in her eyes.. jai patiently waited for zia's reply.. He had by now boarded off the bus and seated at a bench near the bus stop.. He didn't want to stop the conversation in between and leave zia crying this way.. He could now hear her sobs clearly.. 'Zia..please don't cry..'
Gently with her voice cracking at every words zia said 'Jai.. i was so scared to.. to imagine loosing you.. i don't know when it happened.. but..' and she paused. 'Yes zia. Say.
