"How dare you humiliate me in such a manner-!"

"That's much better," Rhia laughed, unconcerned.

"What do you mean?"

"You've got your sea-legs now, haven't you?"

Her anger forgotten for the moment, Julina gave her a look, and said mockingly, "You tricked me. How clever you are."

"And, I rescued you from Amrhost."

Julina gave her a look, got to her feet, and helped Rhia to hers. "Don't ever do something like that to me again!"

"Oh, I see. You didn't want to be rescued from Amrhost."

Julina gave her a sour look. "This is not the least bit amusing."

"You looked happy enough hanging on to his arm. Maybe I should have left you two alone together-"

"I will hurt you if you don't stop!" Julina glared as she grabbed Rhia by the wrist.

Rhia gave her a pert look that told her she didn't take Julina's threat at all seriously. To her unsurprise, Julina released her almost immediately as she made her way to the stern rail, which she leaned on carelessly in order to watch the churning of the ship's wake. Julina tacitly joined her. "You shouldn't lean so far over the rail like that! You might fall overboard!"

Though Rhia feigned an oblivious interest in the whitecapped water and the flying line of ships, her attention was on her friend, who, she noticed with unsurprise, was looking covertly in Amrhost's direction while trying not to appear obvious. Without looking in Julina's direction, Rhia said quietly, "We have so little time left, Julina. We should use it well."
