taught to dance, sing, and play the piano. She read music. In some strip routines she shook off clothes, white feathers and white flower pedals making these fly into the air,

She was a master at ballet doing even the most complicated moves. She could write her own music. Mostly she sang romantic songs. One song that she wrote and sang was “Love is mine.”

Love is mine

So I feel fine

All of the time

You are a part of my heart

When we are apart

Those feelings start

Then Cupid’s arrows dart

Loves come and go

But I want you to know

I love you so

Kisses so true

Tell me I love you

I will never make it without you

M y heart needs your love so true

Love is mine

So I feel fine

All of the time

All of her performances had a high class Broadway polish to them. She was not upper class. Tisha had never been to New York. The polish was just a result of her natural ability. She was highly coordinated. She wore gowns, dresses, suits, and slacks. These were all store bought downtown. Tisha looked great in a simple cotton print dress, nylon stockings, leather shoes, and a plain blouse, with or without a hat. Her natural beauty complimented any thing that she might wear.

She wore many costumes that added a theatrical air to her performances. Some of these were a ballet dancer, a wood nymph, Queen Charlotte, Marie Antoinette, Joan of Arc, Martha Washington, a fairy queen, an elf, a clown, a yellow butterfly, a swan, bathing suits, Cinderella, a white tuxedo, a gorilla, an Indian princess, a white angel with golden wings, a red devil, a mermaid, a farmer’s wife, a hobo-tramp, a harlequin, a fan dancer with soap bubbles, a horse, a cow, a duck, and a chicken.
