"Let's celebrate your birthday club style!" she shouted. I laughed at her and followed her steps to the bar.
"A sex on the beach." Alex requested. "Feeling feminine, aren't you? What happened to 'let's celebration this club style'? I was hoping for you to get wasted." I said.
"Thanks but I don't plan on getting wasted the minute I get to the bar. I want to be clear eyed while I dance with a hottie." she winked at me. The bartender gave her the drink and she took it with a 'thank you' leaving her mouth and took a sip while scanning the crowd on in the club.
"And what would be your order?" asked the bartender. " Long island iced tea " I smiled. He nodded and went to prepare my drink.
"So found any hottie yet?" I asked Alex. "Yup. Look at that blonde over there." She pointed over to the sofas in the club. I looked to the direction of where she was pointing and I saw a guy raising a glass to his lips staring our way. His blonde hair with black roots was up in a messy quiffm
"Yeah I see him, the one drinking from a glass." I collected my drink from the bartender and took a gulp, feeling the alcohol wash down my throat.
"Hmmn, i'm gonna go talk to him." She said and started to go his way. " Hey!" I exclaimed. But before I could get another word out my mouth, she was long gone. Shaking my head with a smile on my face, I took another gulp from my drink and look towards the dancing bodies on the dance floor.
"If you continue drinking like that, you will get drunk quickly." I heard a masculine voice say next to me. Wait, is that a British accent? Cause it sounds like one. I turned to face my right side which was where the voice was sounding from and my eyes was met with a fine looking male face with brown curls on his head.
"Hello stranger," I gave him a slight wave of my hand. He chuckled and answered " hello beautiful, how are you?" Yep I'm right, he has a British accent.
" I am doing quite well, stranger." He gave a small laugh and said "You've been looking over to the dancefloor for quite some time now, wanna dance?"
I looked at him and looked at the dance floor over again and three thoughts came to mind:
1. He's a hot guy so it's worth the dance right?
2. He's a stranger but hey, people who come to clubs on their birthdays dance with strangers and majority end up having a one night stand.
