"This morning, when you were still asleep. I left the house around 9 for the salon and came back by past 2." she answered. "But you slept incredibly long, you have never slept that long before." she said as she finished slicing the tomatoes and poured it into the pot that was on the stove behind her.

"Guess I was really tired. I'm hungry and I want noodles." I walked towards the cabinet.

"Dawn, we're out of noodles." I froze from hearing that statement. We can't be out of noodles. Alex knows that noodles are like my life and she's cool with us running out of noodles. "You've got to be kidding me, i don't believe you." I resumed my walk towards the kitchen cabinet and opened it and saw that we were actually out of it.

"Alex? You went shopping yesterday, am I right? I turned back to face her, slightly angry.

"Yes?" she answered more like a question.

"Was it cloth shopping or food shopping. " I asked, glaring at her now.

"Um both?" she answered. "So you actually went food shopping and you forgot to add my noodles to your list?" she stepped back slowly in fear sensing the anger seeping through my words and pointed to the pot on the stove "I'm making lunch, I swear it slipped my mind. I was gonna head to the mart immediately I was done cooking." she said frantically. I ignored her and went to her room to grab her car key and went to the garage, got in her car and headed towards the mart but not forgetting to turn on the car heat. I get why she was scared of me when I got mad. The last time she witnessed me getting mad was when I and her were taking a walk down the street. A guy rudely brushed my shoulder while passing. I told him to apologise but instead of doing that, he told me to stop bitching about it and walk along. I ended up beating the dude shitless untill Alex screamed and pulled me away from killing the guy. Ever since then, she avoided making me mad.
