When his order was ready, I brought it to him begging God he shouldn't allow Harry to remember me. "Excuse me Miss, have we met before? Because I swear your face looks extremely familiar."

"I don't think so." I replied, try to cut short the conversation and hurry back to my station.

"I think we have. Wait... you're that birthday girl I met at the club a week ago! " Now I can throw the plea under the carpet and stomp on it very hard while glaring at God.

"Wow, it's good to see you again." he smiled, he fucking smiled. Can't he see that I don't want to spend another second here with him agreeing that it's good to see me again?

"So you work here huh?"

"Look here pretty boy, do me a favour. Don't act like you know me and it will make my day. Of all restaurants you had to come here. I don't fancy socialising with you so just zip it." I glared at him. The poor boy was taken aback with suprise much.

"Hostile much? You weren't like this the last time." he said. I shrugged nonchalantly and left him to attend to a couple that just walked in. I don't hate the guy, no. Hearing his voice and seeing his face reminds me of my roots and makes me miss my old life but I dislike having such feelings. Another waitress went to take his bill when he was done eating. My shift ended at eight pm and I left for home.
