The next three days passed in a similar manner . They would go sightseeing in the morning and for dinner they would go to some restaurant . They would kiss each other but nothing beyond that .
Their next stop was Florence . They travelled by Eurail to Florence and were booked in a five star at Saint Novella near the art galleries. Sunaina didn’t have much knowledge of art but Vikram was an art connoisseur. They spent the entire day in various art galleries and for dinner Vikram took her to a small exclusive Italian restaurant where the food was mouthwatering delicious.
The next day they were booked for Pisa Excursion .
They left their hotel after breakfast and spent the entire day there . Fidt they saw the artefacts which inhabited the museums from Vincent Van Gogh’s Pietà, after Delacroix, which was housed in the Collection of Modern Religious Art, to the Augustus of Prima Porta in the Braccio .
After the visit to the Museums they visited The renowned Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope in Vatican City. They saw the works of some of Italy’s most famous Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo and Pinturicchio. They saw the gorgeous Sistine Chapel Ceiling, covered in art including The Creation of Adam and many more pieces by Michelangelo.
Next they visited the renowned St Peter’s Basilica. inside the Basilica Sunaina was mesmerised by amazing architecture and artworks . The guide informed them that it was Created during the Renaissance period, the building was filled with art from famous Italian artists of the time and was even designed by the famous Michelangelo himself.Then they saw the beautiful altar which sits above the resting place of the tomb of St Peter himself.
