Two days after Sam's friends left the atmosphere in the house seemed to change. Maggie couldn't point her finger on any one thing but it gave her a cold chill down her spine. she thought she had seen something but then on second look there was nothing there. One morning she had helped her grandfather on her father's side of the family into a chair in the entrance way. She started cleaning and noticed her graandfather wasn't in the chair when she walked by.
She thought maybe her mother was helping him with his shower. A few minutes later he was back aqain There was a strong smell of fish water on him. She thought I'm going to have to ask momma if the water is safe to drink. She walked around the chair and saw that her grandfather was soaking wet and was holding a fish. He said he had been fishing with his good friend Jimmy. He talked as though he was a child.
At dinnertime he told the story about fishiing with Jimmy. Her father told him dad that was sixty years ago. His father said no I just went fishing with him. His father's friend Jimmy had been deceased for sixty years. On that fishing trip the boat capsized and his father just barely made it to another boat alive.The next day after Maggie helped dress her grandparents and helped them to their charis She stepped into the hall but where she could watch them from the hall. A porthole opened up and swallow her grandmother then.
