The next month he lost his disability benefits. Maggie was really worried that the government was catering to certain people while other people who really need the help. A couple of months later Maggie heard that social security office was sending out letters stating the only way a person was going to recieve Social Security if they resided in a assistant living facility or a nursing home.

If they live in their own apartment or house they wouldn't be recieving their Social Security payments any more. It meant that the facility would be getting all of their money and if the charges exceeded the amount their family would owe the remaining balance/ Maggie thought a way for the government to bankrupt and take everything a family have. Most older people and sick people need more one on one care which is more expensive.

Maggie knew if she could help that wouldn't happen to her family. The next month no one in her fmily was getting any government benefits. It wasn't right with her grandparents was over sixtyfive years old. When she went to the store she saw younger people buying things that her family couldn't afford any more and using food stamps to do it. Some of these people was carrying heavy objects which someone her grandparents or her father wasn't able to.
