A single tear fell down Keith's cheek and I squeezed his hand.

"The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond which unites two loyal hearts in endless love. The rings please," the preacher said.

Ryan held out the rings and the preacher took my gold band that was inscribed with 'You are my love'; I had wanted it to be simple, our love wasn't about jewelry it was about real feelings I had said, Keith agreed.

"Do you Amanda Andrews take Keith to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold until death do you part?" The preacher asked.

"I do," I said. Keith took the ring and as he slipped it on my finger, he said: "With this ring I pledge to you my deepest love and devotion." We both smiled.

"And do you Keith Sheppard take Amanda to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold until death do you part?"

"I do," Keith said. I took the identical yet larger ring and slipped it on Keith's finger as I said: "With this ring I pledge to you my deepest love and devotion." We smiled again.

"These two lives are now joined in one unbroken circle. Wherever they go, may they always return to one another in their togetherness. May these two find in each other, the love for which all men and women long. May they grow in understanding and in compassion. May the home that they establish be such a place of sanctuary that man will find there a friend. And may these two rings symbolize the spirit of undying love in the hearts of both of them. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

We both leaned forward and kissed softly.

"I now present to you: Mr. and Mrs. Keith Sheppard."
