"Why are you haunting that girl's dreams tonight?" Clara asked. Clara thought it was stange that Alex was even haunting anyone, because he was against deceiving people.
"I am not. I'm just checking on her," replyed Alex. They were both watching her through her window sill. Alex moved closer and sat in the corner of her room by the black curtains that were draped from the window.
"What are you doing?" Hissed Clara.
"Getting a better look," Alex whispered, partialy to himself as he had no idea what he was doing.
Clara had had enough. "I'm leaving," she said. Just as she push off the window sill and glided through the air with her beautiful, soft, black wings, the girl in the bed sat up abruptly and Alex slid into the shadows to hide. But, mostly to see what would happen next.
