One dish she used a different ingredient and Miss Schnauzer grabbed her and made her read the ingredients to her. Victoria stated she didn't have a certain ingredient so she sub another seasoning for it. Miss Schnauzer said she would put it on her list., stating to never sub another one without asking permission first. Victoria sigh in relief while thanking God for the change of Miss Schnauzer anger and telling him I thought I was a goner this time for sure.
That night a loud buzzer like a smoke alarm sounded and everyone hurried out of bed and ran downstairs. Miss Schnauzer informed them their master would be arriving early the next morning and the farm needed to be in tip top condition. every one again started running around to make sure there was not one inch of dust anywhere in the house.
Mrs. Whitman the foreman's wife shouted at Victoria because every thing in the kitchen wasn't stock the way he likes it. The dishes was in the cabinet, glasses on the wrong shelf, the pots that was hanging wasn't the right pans. She told Victoria and the rest of the young girls to get the kitchen in tip top shape before they could return to bed.
By the time the group of girls was through with the kitchen they only had a couple of hours to sleep. This time he did show up with a young good looking man which Victoria thought oh good he is a little older than me. She ran to him and ranted this saying that Miss Schnauzer told her it meant I'm glad to meet him and thank you for picking me as your wife. The middle age man slapped her and told she had just committed abomination against him saying this is my son which will be heading right back to Europe. I am your soon to be your husband. She apologized saying I have never met you and I thought your son was the man I had been betrothed to please forgive me. She bowed like Miss Schnauzer told her to when asking for his forgiveness.
He followed her outside to watch how she took care of Stargazer. every thing she did he approved of. He was called away on a depressing matter. She lead Stargazer back into his stall. She hugged him and whispered into his ear. You and I some how will run away before I marry him. I hate him Stargazer neighed as though he was agreeing with her.
The next morning while the master Ahriman was having a meeting Victoria could not find his favorite seasoning for his eggs . she tried to ask Miss Schnauzer but since she was in the meeting and nobody was allowed to interrupt the meeting Victoria went ahead and substitute another seasoning for his family secret seasoning knowing how to make eggs benedict using her mother's receipt .
