She was eager and immediately e-mailed him and wrote, I want to purchase the plant and will set up an account at your bank.
He e-mailed her back and conveyed, I will handle all of the particulars and get back to you shortly. Two days later, she received the following e-mail:
Dear Kamani:
The lawyer representing the factory you wish to buy has prepared a contract along with the necessary documents, which will transfer ownership of the business to you.
You agree to pay two hundred thousand dollars {twenty percent deposit of the total asking price, one million dollars}, which will be deposited into the seller's bank account. You and the seller will determine subsequent payments of the remaining balance {eight hundred thousand dollars} later.
I will e-mail the contract to you shortly; please sign and return by fax as soon as possible. To expedite this agreement, I have taken the liberty of contacting a lawyer who is an associate of mine; he specializes in business contracts and will be in your area for the next several days.
At my request, he will go over the contract at no cost to you. Please note that ownership of the company will be complete when the seller receives two hundred thousand dollars into his account.

In his business affairs, Kamani could not believe how professional Landel was. Here was a man who got things done. Unlike many of the men she encountered in the past, he was not afraid to make important decisions or stand by his promises. He walked the walk and talked the talk, was a take charge individual and was definitely the man she wanted to be with, without end.
The documents had arrived. Kamani read them thoroughly and thought the terms were clear but took Landel's advice and called the lawyer whom he had recommended. She made an appointment to see the legal representative. Since he was going to be in the vicinity, he agreed to come to her home office.
When the attorney arrived, they both went over the papers. He explained everything, informed her that the contract was thorough and wished her good fortunes. He was leaving the country in a couple of days and left his cell phone number in case she had any additional questions.
She thanked him for his assistance.
Kamani signed and faxed the papers to Landel. The next day, he notified her that the documents had arrived, and after receiving the two hundred thousand dollars, she would receive the title to the plant.
He gave her the seller's account number to wire the money into and told her it would take one month for the transaction to be completed. Once she got the deed, he would send an application, which would make it possible for her to open a corporate account.
