“Class, I would like you to meet a friend and former colleague of mine, Detective Johnnie Rowell. He will be with me for a little while, working, and he will be in and out of our classes.”
Johnnie stood and waved, smiled at a few of the comments and then took his seat again.
“So, it would seem that the topic of conversation is the murders that have been taking place along the interstate Johnnie.”
He looked up sharply at that comment. Before he could say anything, though, a student commented.
“That’s all that is on the news or on the internet. This guy is taking female students, in master’s programs and killing them. He is messing with the ability to identify them so it is taking forever to determine who is missing.”
“I read last night that he was really a she. That the problem is that she is jealous of the females who are making it farther in their life than she is and she is slowly removing them.”
“Well, I heard that it is a group of people who are tired of women not staying in their place within the home. They are trying to get the message out that women should be mothers and wives, not serious students or anything else.”
