Angeline blushed. “Dr. Jacobs, I am so sorry. We will continue this later, and we do not have to do this here in your office. It is fine; really, I know this man and I will be just fine. Thank you for looking out for me. I do appreciate it so much, but it will be fine.”

She and Johnnie left the office and made their way down the hall and to the outside of the administration building. They made plans to meet back at her apartment that evening, after her last class. Then, Angeline went to finish her day. She moved slowly through the rest of her classes, and it seemed as if they would never end. She kept watching the clock, and when the last class finally ended, she left quickly.

When she made it to her car, there as a note attached to her windshield, she grabbed it, stuck it in her back pocket and climbed into the car. When she arrived, she quickly got out, letting herself in. She gathered what she needed to fix a light supper and just as she as setting it all on the table, the doorbell rang.

She moved towards it, throwing it open telling him “Just in time…”
