Roy never hesitated but spent an uncomfortable long minute passionately kissing Sara. When they came up gasping for air, everyone stood, applauding and cheering.

Reverend Daniel faced the crowd and held up his hands, "I have an announcement. After I present the couple, they will be near the church entrance to greet all of the guests here today. At three, this afternoon, there will be a reception for Roy and Sara in the saloon. And now, may I present you with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Folsom."

Again, the room started applauding and cheering. Roy and Sara walked down the aisle while the organist pumped a lively tune. The newly wedded couple stood in the back of the church and greeted all the people. At one point, Roy whispered into Sara's ear.

"I have no idea who most of these people are."

"Neither do I! I can't wait to get out of this stupid dress."

"Sara, you're beautiful. You look like an angel."

Sara blushed. "Oh, Roy Folsom, stop it."

After all the guests had left the church, they hung around the front entrance, waiting for the new couple to exit. Grover Matting sold his used Surrey wagon to Roy because Grover now had a new automobile. Sitting in the driver's seat of the Surrey sat Billy and Abe waiting for Roy and Sara to join them. When newlyweds emerged from the church, everyone began throwing handfuls of rice at the happy couple. Roy and Sara dashed for the Surrey and jumped in the back seat. Roy yelled at Abe and Billy.

"Go! Get us out of here, now."

"Yah, yah," screamed Billy and Abe cracked the whip. Sugar-Girl immediately raced away from the church, transporting the family away from the rice which was raining down like hail.

Abe turned around. "Where do you want to go?"

Both Sara and Roy were laughing. "Drive around the outside of town. Just keep us away from people for a little while."

Billy slowed the Surrey and stopped by a cluster of trees, a short distance out of town. After chatting with the boys and asking them what they thought of the ceremony, Abe decided to pose his own question.

"Okay Roy, now that you're married to Maw, what do we call you? Should we call you Paw?"

After a lengthy pause, Roy shared his wisdom. "You have a paw already and unfortunately he was injured, so I'm uncomfortable being called your paw because I'm not replacing the man. I'm okay with you two calling me Roy or something else, just don't ever call me late for dinner."

"What about Papa?" Sara asked.
