The investigator took pictures then called in their lab techs which took plaster impressions of both of the dog paws plus the people shoe prints. The first one identified was the victim. The second set was labeled unknown so was the paw prints Erin's unit couldn't identify any of their impressions ecept the size of the foot prints. The latest victim wore a size seven which all they had to do was look in her shoes to get that information and yes she was the one running. Everyone knew she had been running for her life. The other shoe impression was of a man's shoe size eight
Erin asked Eric if dog paw prints could be identified. Eric replied only if they had some unusual defect. All they usually could tell what size of dog. He looked at the impressions and came to the conclusion that the size of dog was medium to large in size and they had impressions of two dogs standing side by side at one time. Looking at the crime scene photos of the prints Eric came to the conclusion one dog lead and the one followed the leader. Both dogs weighed about the same as far as Eric could tell by the plaster impressions and photos. He didn't think it was a pack of wild dogs There would have been more paw prints. Due to one person the FBI interviewed saying they heard a whistle. Eric stated that wasn't commanding the dogs for the fact people can't hear dog whistles.
