"Yeah, well something he said worried me. He told me he always lies to everyone to get what and who he wants. And something you said worried me a little more. You said that you knew people that wasted too much time on the wrong person. I also remember you saying that I should be with the one person who will make me happy. I've spent five years on the wrong guy. I had more happiness the week I spent with you in Italy than I had the whole five years Michael and I were together. When you and I kissed the world stopped existing for those moments. When I kiss Michael I don't close my eyes, with you I always closed my eyes because nothing in the world mattered except kissing you. When Michael and I kissed I was always thinking of things I needed to do or anything else that popped into my mind at the time. The hardest thing I've done in a long time was to go downstairs to meet Michael for our talk. All I really wanted to do was run to your hotel room and kiss you and hold you again. I know I've only known you a very short time, but I've truly fallen in love with you."

John looked deeply into her eyes. "And I know I'm totally and helplessly in love with you too. I think I fell in love with you the night you opened the front door and smiled at me." He reached over and placed his hands tenderly on Jennifer's face, leaned forward and gave her a warm and sensual kiss. He pulled his head back for a moment. "So you want to go to lunch huh? Oh wait a minute, I forgot, I'm supposed to have lunch and finally meet the President of the company today, sorry about that, how about a rain check on lunch or how about dinner after work tonight?"

She got a big smile on her face. "How about I tag along for your lunch with the President?"

"I would love to have you come along, but I'm not sure if the President of the company would appreciate it."

"Trust me, it won't be a problem. My Dad rarely says no to me."

A shocked look on his face as he said, "Hold on, did you just say your Dad? Oh my God, Jennifer Olson, Robert Olson. Robert Olson is your Dad? I never connected the names. Okay, wait a minute, does that mean I didn't get this job based on my own merits?"

"Don't worry, you got the job on your merits, the only thing I did was to tell my Dad that you had just quit Michaels Company. He wanted you very badly in fact I think I actually heard him drooling over the phone."
