Soon he broke the news to their families. Both of the parents could not believe what they heard. Just yesterday the atmosphere was tensed regarding Naina’s fragile health & today suddenly it is all joy & happiness.
Naina was back home. She had her mom & Nitin’s mom both by her side for first 2 months. Nitin ensured she took proper rest & medicines on time. It was 90days now. Naina did have a lot of trouble in carrying out her routine. Nitin religiously called her everyday from office to enquire about her health. He could not forget the scene where he saw her lying lifeless…that day made her more precious for him…his most priced possession…a gift of his lifetime.
Everyday Nitin walked home with flowers, cards, sweets & gifts for his lovely wife. He never made her feel alone.She was his queen. Her demands were his orders. He fulfilled all her cravings & brought the best for her. He dealt with her mood swings, sickness & at times felt bad seeing her in pain.
One day he wanted to speak to her gently a matter very close to his heart. He did not know how Naina would take this but…he had to. So to ease out things, they went on their dinner date.
